How membership works

Our memberships are designed around consistency, structure, and giving your dog the best possible experience each week.

Membership setup fee

A one-time onboarding and administration fee of £75 applies to all new memberships.

This fee is waived at the point of sign-up but becomes payable if:

The membership is cancelled within the first 3 billing cycles (12 weeks), or
The membership is cancelled and later restarted for the same dog

The waived setup fee is offered once per dog. Any future membership started for the same dog following cancellation will be treated as a new membership agreement and the setup fee will apply at the point of rejoining. This fee does not apply where OPW terminates or suspends services at its own discretion.

Membership structure

We offer four membership options depending on how often you need daycare:

Bronze: 1 fixed day per week
Silver: 2 flexible weekdays per week
Gold: 3 flexible weekdays per week
Platinum: Unlimited attendance, including weekends (subject to availability)

All memberships are assigned to a specific dog and are strictly non-transferable. Each dog must hold its own membership or booking arrangement.

Flexibility and booking

Bronze memberships are fixed days only and cannot be moved or swapped
Silver and Gold memberships allow movement within the same calendar week (Monday to Friday only)
A minimum of 7 days' notice is required for any changes
All changes are subject to availability
Weekend attendance is only available on Platinum memberships and is not guaranteed

Additional days

If you need extra days, these can be booked subject to availability:

Bronze: £55 per additional day
Silver: £51.25 per additional day
Gold: £50 per additional day

Billing and payments

Memberships are billed on a 4-week recurring cycle
Payments are taken in advance via direct debit
Your billing cycle is established from your initial payment date
The initial payment must be made prior to attendance
Pricing may be reviewed with a minimum of 1 month's written notice

Cancelling your direct debit does not cancel your membership or remove outstanding payment obligations. Where payments remain due, OPW reserves the right to recover outstanding balances using stored payment details. Attendance may be suspended immediately where payments fail.

Cancellations and changes

Cancellation:

Memberships can be cancelled at any time with written notice
14 days' notice is required before your next billing date
If less notice is given, one further 4-week billing cycle will apply
Membership ends at the conclusion of the final paid billing cycle
No refunds are given for unused sessions within a billing cycle

Changing your membership:

Upgrades can be requested at any time and will take effect as soon as reasonably possible
Downgrades require the same 14 days' notice as cancellations
An administration fee of £30 may apply for membership changes

Absences and missed sessions

Memberships are based on reserved spaces, not attendance. Your space is held regardless of whether your dog attends.

Sessions must be used within the same calendar week
Missed sessions cannot be carried forward, transferred, or refunded
This applies to holidays, illness, and any other reason

Seasons and neutering

We understand there are times when your dog may need to take a short break.

For members during a season (first season only):

OPW may provide up to 2 weeks of replacement sessions
These must be used within 2 months of your dog's return
You must notify OPW as soon as reasonably possible once the season begins
This applies to the first season only; no replacement sessions for subsequent seasons

For planned neutering or spaying:

A minimum of 4 weeks' notice is required
OPW may provide replacement sessions equivalent to up to 2 weeks of attendance
These must be used within 2 months
A recovery period and reassessment may be required prior to re-admission

All replacement sessions are subject to availability, must be booked in advance, hold no cash value, and cannot be exchanged for refunds.

Bank holidays and closures

OPW may operate reduced services during bank holidays and seasonal periods
Where sessions fall on a closure, they may be moved within the same calendar week
All rescheduled sessions are weekdays only (Monday to Friday)
Sessions cannot be moved to weekends unless the client holds a Platinum membership

A premium rate may apply during designated peak periods, including the Christmas period.

Boarding and membership

If your dog is boarding with us on a day covered by their membership, the equivalent daily membership value will be deducted from the boarding fee. Boarding remains subject to separate booking and availability.

Additional services

Services such as nail clipping are available at OPW's discretion and subject to your dog's suitability. OPW reserves the right to refuse additional services where a dog is deemed unsuitable.
